Lo Lieh does not play Pai Mei in Clan of the White Lotus
[edit]I don't know why so many people get this wrong, but Lo Lieh does not play Pak Mei in "Clan of the White Lotus", Wilson Tong does. The dubbed version of the film erroneously identifies Lieh as Pak Mei, but he plays White Lotus in that film, not White Eyebrows. This is made abundantly obvious if one watches the film in its original language. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.141.154.101 (talk) 01:28, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have removed the sentence "Bak Mei was played by Lo Lieh in all three movies" from the lead as Lo Lieh DID NOT play Bak Mei in Clan of the White Lotus. Anyone who can speak two words of Chinese and has seen the film knows that Lo Lieh plays the brother of Bak Mei in that flim, not Bak Mei himself. A particular editor keeps reinserting the erroneous claim into this entry; I will continue to remove it when necessary.74.138.40.147 (talk) 01:10, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
Connections with Karate?
[edit]Does anyone know if Bak Mei has influenced Karate, it doesn't say so in the article but the forms have certain similarities. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joemaddx (talk • contribs) 14:03, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
Article
[edit]This article relies on a single source, and very sparingly: Pak Mei: A dedication, which is seemingly a self-published non-scholarly work by a non-scholar. Information added to the page should be cited every time. Ogress smash! 17:01, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
search baidu
[edit]if you make a search on the chinese google i.e. baidu you will find that pak mei is actually chinese god protecting the poor, so Lin when he finished acquiring his skills via various teachers, used the name pak mei for his new schools name , that's all.
