I am an active participant of Wikipedia:WikiProject Melbourne and many of my contributions have been geographical articles on Melbourne and surrounds, particularly starting many of the articles on Parks and gardens of Melbourne and Cycling in Melbourne . I participate in Wikipedia:Australian Wikipedians' notice board . I have been with Wikipedia since August 2004, although I made a few anonymous contributions before then. Have worked in the past on Wikipedia:WikiProject Cycling and Wikipedia:WikiProject Melbourne/Institutions and currently doing work with Wikipedia:WikiProject Indigenous peoples of Australia , although I seem to be the most active participant on this project at the moment. I have contributed a large range of photos - see my photo gallery at User:Tirin/Photos , all released under GNU FDL. At the end of 2006 I had a good and long wikibreak . I find I only visit and do new articles or updates very occasionally, as of 2016.
At the end of 2008 I have been working on Category:TAFE Victoria , Category:Australian jazz particularly in Melbourne, Category:Wurundjeri , Category:Dja Dja Wurrung and Victorian Aborigines pages as part of Category:History of Victoria (Australia) .

The Working Man's Barnstar
For your many and varied efforts in creating and improving Australia-related articles, I take pleasure in awarding you the Working Man's Barnstar. Efforts like yours make this a better encyclopedia, frankly. Regards,Colonel Tom 10:55, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
The Original Barnstar
This is now a little after the fact, but your articles that you created about the Wurundjeri and other Indigenous Australian people and groups around Victoria deserve some recognition. Great work! Mattinbgn \talk 12:24, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
