Wikics template
[edit]Hi Kyknos! I've just created a new template to indicate English Wikipedia users who also contribute to the Czech Wikipedia.
Feel free to add it to your userboxes if you like it (and if you actually contribute). Happy Easter. Daniel Šebesta (talk • contribs) 22:24, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

ON YOUR VOTE FOR SUICIDE METHODS
[edit]Why? You have no suicidal intentions. Fine. What about other Wikipedians? Why? Wikipedia is contradicting itself by allowing this type of information in its databases while its stating that assisting is illegal? Prowikipedians (talk) 15:53, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
I've created a request at the article's talk page. This request should show up automatically at Wikipedia:Requested moves shortly, so I've also reverted your manual addition to "Wikipedia:Requested moves". If the request doesn't show up, please let me know. Cheers! TFOWRpropaganda 11:23, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry about this, by the way - the requested move is still visible at Wikipedia:Requested moves - all it means is that an admin contemplating the move will see that it's been considered by the article's editors. Your reasoning for the move makes sense to me and I'd imagine that the move will be non-controversial. Cheers, TFOWRpropaganda 12:31, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! SarahStierch (talk) 03:57, 21 April 2012 (UTC) |
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:Mars express kyknos.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Mars express kyknos.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
