Harry Glasper
[edit]Re the rating on the Harry Glasper article. I did not indicate any problems with the article. It is a stub article. It has very little information about the person's life, so from the biography project standpoint, this is a standard rating for such a brief article that only focuses on such a narrow segment of one's life. Please don't take it the wrong way. Also, since you mention that this person is your father, that creates a conflict of interest problem in my view. ludahai 魯大海 13:12, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Simon Whinyates
[edit]Please do not make personal attacks. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dragonlance GA
[edit]Hey there! Just letting you know that we have nominated Dragonlance to be a Good Article, and it is currently up for review. :) BOZ (talk) 00:16, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Saltburn-by-the-Sea
[edit]I have restored the {{Fact}} tag you removed as you need to actually put the reference into the text of the article. A link to another wiki article or a comment in the edit summary is insufficient you need to add a reliable source that shows the person has a connection to the location. Thanks. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Mike1971inter! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Gino Armano - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Angelo Domenghini - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

[edit]Your inclusion of an external link to a facebook page, if left as it is now, could be deemed to have failed the WP:External links criteria. However, it may be admissible if you were to declare any of the photos on the facebook page as free to use under Commons Criteria Licencing and uploaded into Wiki Commons. External links are usually only allowed when they are part of an in-line reference. Also the fact that you have used unofficial in your facebook page title, would seem on the face of it to be not an official site for the subject of the article and also falls foul of the citeria for external links. As there is a way for you to keep the link, it is customary on Wikipedia to allow a few months grace to rectify the article.Rimmer1993 (talk) 21:49, 29 September 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council election, 1995, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Langbaurgh (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Election articles
[edit]Thanks for your recent creation of election articles. Just a couple of tips: MOS:DATE requires dates to be in the format 10 May 1976 not 10th May 1976. Also, please ensure there is no whitespace in the articles (there should not be two consecutive lines with no text) and that (e.g.) Labour Party is not written Labour party. [edit]Seven Dials (Roddy Frame album) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Seven Dials (Roddy Frame album), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
