Patent Nonsense? Terrapin 20:00, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- It's a group on an old TV series called 'Millenium'.. I think. Xezbeth 20:09, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- It says NOTHING about that on the page. Even the Millennium link links to the chrono version. I went to the Millennium (TV) page, and it said nothing. Can someone confirm? Merge and redirect to that page? (which is a stub)? Terrapin 20:22, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Patent nonsense indeed. This sounds like stuff from a millenialist or conspiracy minded novel. PedanticallySpeaking 20:23, Aug 26, 2004 (UTC)
- Merge and redirect to Millennium (TV series). It is part of the show. — Gwalla | Talk 23:03, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: I don't think it's from the "Millenium" TV series. I think it's from a different TV show, though, an older one. Maybe not. At any rate, this presents fiction as fact, in the Tim LeHay way. Geogre 02:44, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- It's from the TV show [1] but there's also real-world conspiracy theorists going by that name [2] ... keep and cleanup. -Sean Curtin 05:11, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)
- Reluctant Keep - because when I ask myself, if a non-abridged encyclopedia of science fiction television shows would have this information, my answer is yes. Whether it's merged with the main article or not, it needs a thorough cleanup and to be clearly defined as a work describing a science fiction program's background story. I really think some enterprising person should comb the well-stocked and highly-detailed science fiction and other such genre-related television articles here to create a comprehensive popular culture history text on wikibooks. - Right, it's from the TV show as Sean says, the one that ran 96-99 with Lance Henriksen as Frank Black. I have found the text of the Millennium article absolutely verbatim, just arranged a little differently, in an issue of "The Millenial Comet", which is (was), a newsletter for fans of the show. So the material hasn't been originally produced for Wikipedia, but who's to say whether it's copyvio? Maybe the copyright holder created the page. Bishonen 11:24, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Comment. Well, definitely not delete, someone has gone to some trouble to put this on here, even allowing for potential copyvio. Perhaps merge with Millennium (TV series) or at least make it clear that the group is fictional and include some links to the show, I believe this is why it was listed on vfd in the first place. It doesn't actually say that the Millenium Group is fictional. Saint will 21:10, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. I believe it's a major (possibly *the* major) component of the Millennium (TV series). I added a sentence to make it clear the thing is fictional. Aris Katsaris 03:54, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
