Hi, welcome to Wikipedia!
As a fellow stamp enthusiast, I'd like to direct your attention to our existing articles, most of them linked from postage stamp, or from countries. For instance, there is already an article on the Penny Black, so you can just link to it from stamp collecting. Similarly, we have Inverted Jenny, Stamps and postal history of Austria, Stamps and postal history of Canada, etc. One thing I'd like to see is additional articles for things like duck stamp, souvenir sheet, postage stamp forgery, and so forth, so that top-level articles like philately and stamp collecting can be "lean and mean", with links to in-depth articles on the many topics. Looking forward to many more contributions! Stan 18:08 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Some technical advice: indenting at the beginning of a paragraph causes formatting problems; see how I editted philatelic investment. Don't type [[dogs]]; instead type [[dog]]s; the entire word will appear highlighted and will be clickable; it will take you to the article titled "dog" (you did this with "postage stamps".). Words in article titles should not be capitalized without reason; I moved "Tangible Investments" to "Tangible investments" (with a lower-case "i"); the first word gets capitalized automatically, so that a link to "dog" with a lower-case "d" will go to "Dog". Welcome back!!
[edit]I'm glad that, as the original author of Philatelic investment, you have decided to improve the article further. It is missing references at the moment, do you know of any published sources on the matter? - MrArt 06:45, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
