Campaign categories
[edit]The campaign categories look like they would work better as lists. Also, the category names are just strange, e.g. "Campaigns of the Lower Seaboard Theater and Gulf Approach of the American Civil War".

Picacho Pass
[edit]The legend of the map appears to cover up the site of where the Battle of Picacho Pass took place, 50 miles northwest of Tucson.

Why does this category exist?
[edit]Why does this category exist? Aren't all of the Civil War battles categorized under their campaigns? This category is used by only a tiny number of battle articles, seemingly randomly selected. Hal Jespersen 16:21, 14 August 2005 (UTC)
- The battles go in their campaign categories, the campaigns go in their theater categories, and the theaters go in this category, I guess. Not all of the battle article have been created yet, so this category also serves as a temporary category for later sorting. For some battles, it's also not known in what campaign they belong. — BRIAN0918 • 2005-08-14 16:54
I will let this lie as a resting place for non-campaign-affiliated battles, which I suppose might be useful, but will edit the pointers from some of my campaign overview articles. Hal Jespersen 17:27, 14 August 2005 (UTC)
