Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia!
If you've been here a while as a reader, you may know a lot of this stuff, but here are some references you might find useful now that you're editing.
- Wikipedia:How does one edit a page for the basics of page editing.
- Wikipedia:Manual of Style for formating
- Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, a useful sleep aid that you should read at some point.
- Wikipedia:Changing attribution for an edit if you want take edits you made anonymously and assign them to your account.
- Wikipedia:Help for FAQs and guides on various questions
- Village pump for asking questions to the community.
- Wikipedia:Pages needing attention to find articles that, well, need attention.
- Wikipedia:WikiProject to find WikiProjects, which are coordination pages to help people working on specific groups of articles (such as all the country articles, or all the math articles.) You might specifically be interested in Wikipedia:WikiProject Hats and Headgear or Wikipedia:WikiProject Space. Looking at their list of participants is a way to find people working in an area you're interested in. You can also find collaborators by looking here.

Hello! :) Another participant on Hats and Headgear! Great. :) I'm in the middle of sifting through another glossary of hats and confusing myself in the process. I cannot quite believe how many different kinds there are/have been! I'll help you with formatting slouch hat, it's simple once you get the hang of it. Welcome to wikipedia. fabiform | talk 19:42, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
I beat Fabiform to it and did some fixing :-) I'm sure there can be more improvements made though. Nothing here at Wikipedia is ever "done." Thanks for your work. Isomorphic 19:47, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Ha, I improved on your fixes. *sticks out tongue* One rule we have here about naming pages is that the fist word is always capitalised, but none of the rest are unless it's a proper noun/name etc. So I've moved it to Slouch hat, links to this will also work if written in lowercase: slouch hat. :) fabiform | talk 19:51, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Hi there, Skylark -- I saw your name pop up on my watchlist and had an overwhelming surge of nostalgia -- the Skylark books were the first sci-fi books I ever borrowed from my dad's overflowing shelves, when I was eight or nine, and I still love them dearly. Even if it did take me years to get over calling that guy "doo-KWESS-knee"..... Thanks for the memories, and it's great to see another new face doing good work around here. Glad you joined the fun! — Catherine\talk 01:10, 8 August 2005 (UTC)
