Earliest That A Super Bowl As Ever Taken Place? What?

"'This is the earliest that a Super Bowl as ever taken place.'"

I'm guessing that the sentence was supposed to say "This is the earliest in the year that a Super Bowl has ever taken place." since it was and still is. Did I make the right edit? --WikiFan04 13:56, 18 Dec 2004 (CST)
