Poor quality
[edit]This article is of rather poor quality. I know little about Cecilia Gallerani, but I know enough to see that this could be written much better. - 27 Semptember 2005
- There are two sources - and I can cite a third (Julia Cartwright's biography of Beatrice D'Este summarizes some primary source material about Cecilia. Removing that tag. Article needs work but it's not an issue of sources - even the primary sources are meager for that period and that status of woman. Both of the sources cited are using the same sources Cartwright used.--LeValley 23:44, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
More info needed
[edit]So, was she an aristocrat or what? If so, presumably the fact that she spoke Latin is no more than one would expect? This article needs looking at by someone with knowledge of Italian mediaeval history. Woblosch 19:41, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, article nejeanne (talk) 13:37, 17 April 2008 (UTC)eds more details as to her exact birthdate, parents names, etc.
So in the end she married Count Bergamino? making her Celilia Bergamino, how strange my great Aunt Cecilia Bergamino died about two years ago, it must be a common name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.240.155.95 (talk) 11:07, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- Is there more info on this topic? It seems like this article has needed more info for half a decade.P0PP4B34R732 (talk) 02:35, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
