I used to work near Barking, and worked with people from Barking, but none of them sounded like Mr. Bragg. His accent does not correspond to an Estuary English accent either. I have lived and worked in many places around most regions of England, but I am unable to match his accent to any local accent. British people's accents often change as a result of where they live and have lived. It may be partly "theatrical", since although he's primarily "a singer" he is well used to public speaking. We'd need a reliable source to add anything. I see that The Independent said here that he is "well-known for singing in a raw London accent" while The Guardian says he has a "disguised Essex accent." I've always thought that "Sexuality" sounded a bit Brummie. But I agree with your descriptions. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:54, 9 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
