Deadliest crash

The deadliest crash of this year was Korean Air Lines Flight 007, a Boeing 747 which was shot down over the Sea of Japan near Sakhalin Island, Russian SFSR on 1 September, killing all 269 people on board. of 2 months after second deadliest crash of this year was the Avianca Flight 011, a Boeing 747 which crashed in mountainous terrain on approach to Madrid, Spain on 27 November, killing 181 people of 192 onboard.
