Adams?
[edit]"All these papers are published in the Johns Hopkins University Studies in Historical and Political Science, edited by Prof. Adams, 4 vols. (Baltimore, 1883-'86)."
Who exactly is that "Prof. Adams"? Does anyone know?
adams did not coin the phrase political science
[edit]example of usage in april 1929:
"Indeed we should sooner expect a great original work on political science, such a work, for example, as the Wealth of Nations, from an apothecary in a country town, or from a minister in the Hebrides, than from a statesman who, ever since he was one-and-twenty, had been a distinguished debater in the House of Commons." - Thomas Babington Macaulay, Gladstone on Church and State
Wikipedia is the only place I can find where Herbert Baxter Adams is given credit for coming up with the phrase Political Science. This is an anachronism and this should be removed from this article and should not be mentioned in the article on political science. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.5.109.49 (talk) 15:04, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
