just a definition of a french word. useless, inacurate, and contains a typo (quay instead of quai) delete.
Delete:In Wiktionary, they'd need the English "quay," which is a bay/key. This is misnamed. Geogre 12:44, 9 Jul 2004 (UTC)- A French dicdef is not worthwhile though, I can tell you that quai is the word for "quay", and also for "platform" (where you get on trains), so its an incomplete dicdef. I think quay might be a redirect somewhere, or even its own article. I'll try a stub. Dunc_Harris|☺ 14:15, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep rewritten stub. -Sean Curtin 02:58, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- It's a much better stub than it was, and I can see room for its maturation. I'll change from delete to abstain. It's still dictdef, but it has room, now, to grow. (BTW, "key" is, I think, one of those neat cases where the pronunciation of "quay" led to a new word in English.) Geogre 15:41, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
