General Comments
[edit]This article needs to be more generic to start with, and then go into more detail about the types of tank cars, and also about the different types of tank cars around the world: for example, some european LPG tank cars are equipped with bottom off-loading, while North-American cars are not allowed to have bottom offloading. Any more ideas? Manu (talk) 00:46, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
A seperate article on Liquid Hydrogen tank cars, is it really necessary?
[edit]Maintaining a seperate page for a subtype of Tank car is unjustified. The content can be easily included without causing unnecessary fuss for readers. HarveyHenkelmann (talk) 23:26, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- To prevent multiple discussions on different pages, please do further dicussions on Talk:Liquid hydrogen tank car. Thanks Mion (talk)

Type F or Type E
[edit]The type "F" coupler has shelves over and under the coupler. Shouldn't this read type "E". Shelves over and under the coupler resemble the letter "E", hence the name. Tabletop (talk) 04:59, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
Are you kidding me?
[edit]No information, no data on present size of tank cars? Really? Pathetic.40.142.183.194 (talk) 05:29, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
