The result was (apparently) keep; the last comment was made on August 17, 2004. This has to qualify for some sort of record for the oldest unclosed deletion discussion... or something. —Dinoguy1000 05:27, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Er...No idea what this is supposed to be about. Deb 21:43, 9 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- evidently manga. If the original contributor isn't able to disclose exactly what, and why it is notable, I say delete. --Ianb 22:24, 9 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: We're not a place for product reviews, no matter how deep touching the products are. Send this to the new Anime Ghetto that we're building. Geogre 22:28, 9 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- To be picky, it doesn't belong there, since manga is not a subset of anime. In saying that, I've about exhausted my own knowledge of the subject (I don't by any means live up to my manga/anime username), but if nobody minds, I'll try and clean it some. It looks like a labor of love, I don't find it that incomprehensible, and I don't quite see why this particular original contributor and obvious non-native speaker is to be left to fend for himself/herself in conveying "exactly what". The title, as strange as it looks, is apparently exactly correct, since it both gives Google hits - only 14 of them, but quite helpful - here's a synopsis, for instance. It is also to be found in the List of manga and in Seinen. --Bishonen 20:58, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- So, I have cleaned it up, but I don't know what I was thinking, offering to NPOV a highly POV account of a work that I haven't read, seen, or heard of. There's sort of not much oxygen in the mix. I was hoping to discover that G Senjou Heaven's Door was somewhat notable, but unfortunately it turns out that it's not famous in the manga community, it doesn't have any anime based on it, and it hasn't been published in English. So, well, sorry for the prideful impulse, and after all that, I have to vote delete. Bishonen 15:28, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- You were doing a serious karma bump by even trying, a mitzveh, in fact. We should all be as conscientious. Geogre 16:20, 11 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Weak keep. Now that Bishonen's cleaned it up, it's a good article. The only question is whether it's a good article about a non-notable subject. —Triskaideka 14:59, 12 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, I suppose. Not an especially popular manga, though.. Rhymeless 05:44, 13 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. --Dittaeva 21:54, 14 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Sounds fascinatingly thought-provoking. -RedWordSmith 02:30, 15 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Expansion report: I have added the scanlation, which I thought before would have been against copyright policy to mention, but compare the scanlation article! Also I took a shot at what the author may have meant about the drawing style, and mentioned lack of fame. Pitch in, people. Now that it's looking like a Keep, let's make it a Featured Article. ;-) Bishonen 08:10, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
