Geography
[edit]The highest elevation is more than 40 feet - see this for example. Tedickey (talk) 00:09, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
The link is good to investigate -- I'm not certain if the 200' cited is from sea level or not. If it's an elevation to a point below sea level (possible in a gorge), then 40' max elevation is still possible. Markvs88(talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:18, 4 December 2008 (UTC).
Merge
[edit]I believe that List of mayors of Stratford, Connecticut page should be merged with Stratford, Connecticut article. The former is unnecessary and can be explained on the latter's page.
ConorLaHiff (talk) 21:21, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. It is standard practice to break these out as these lists. Sure, Stratford's list is short (for now) but adding the Mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut or List of mayors of New Haven, Connecticut starts to make a mess (which is why they were broken out in the first place). Famous People Associated With The American Shakepeare Theater
[edit]Would it be apporpriate to mention that Katharine Hepburn, James Earl Jones, Paul Newman, Jessica Tandy, Jane Alexander, Hal Holbrook, Roddy McDowall, Nina Foch, Christopher Plummer, Christopher Walken, and Will Geer and other famous actors appeared at the American Shakespeare Theater in Stratford, and that Ms Hepburn lived in Stratford for 2 summers while performing there? Also, John Houseman served as its artistic director during the late 1950s, I would imagine he resided there as well. Mikevegas40 (talk) 07:52, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
