Requested move
[edit]Ernest Louis, Grand Duke of Hesse → Ernest Ludwig, Grand Duke of Hesse – He is far more well known as Ern(e)st Ludwig. In most any royalty book that has not been completely Anglicized, he is know as Ern(e)st Ludwig, never as Ern(e)st Louis. Morhange 22:04, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

This is beyond stupid. ERNST LUDWIG was his name. That's how it's spelt on the bloody coins. [1] ClearBreeze (talk) 14:48, 7 April 2019 (UTC)

In a small town like Darmstadt, it was impossible to keep secrets. Rumours spread from the small court to military circles, and citizens of the grand duchy. ... It was said, that he was visiting a lady in the town, and that he also showed a marked fondness for male kitchen hands and stable boys.
