It says RHCP won 6 Grammys which is an error. They won 3.
[edit]New text / paragraph: They have won three Grammy Awards, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, and in 2022 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

- Done Thanks for reporting this. The body of the article also reflected this error, saying Stadium Arcadium won more Grammys than it seemingly actually did, based on the Grammys page. Weird, not sure how that happened. (Maybe an editor got wins confused with nominations?) Popcornfud (talk) 13:59, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'm not sure what happened, but I just found another Wiki page that lists their Grammys wrong:
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Red_Hot_Chili_Peppers Recordstaple (talk) 14:16, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- @Recordstaple I removed the list of Grammy wins you copy/pasted as it breaks up the talk page and it might be a WP:COPYVIO violation. hope that's OK.
- This has now been fixed on the other page. Thanks for raising this. No idea how such a complex set of inaccuracies crept into the pages. It's dangerous because it's the kind of thing that could easily lead to WP:CITEGENESIS. Popcornfud (talk) 08:51, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
Nudity in right section?
[edit]Wouldn't the fact that the boys got rather famous in their younger days, by merrily, some might say generously, bouncing their naked butt buns around on stages, be more a matter of "Legacy" that "Style"? Were Adam and Eve of a certain style before the apple? Just askiing. SergeWoodzing (talk) 19:47, 14 June 2024 (UTC)
- During recent extensive edits the sentence about their famous nude performances was moved to a musical style section. I think most of us might agree that bouncing butt buns around on stage is more an example of activism for freedom of expression than a musical element. Have moved the sentence accordingly. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 15:10, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
the Mansion was not lived in by Houdini...
[edit]This page says that it was so, but it was only alleged to be the home of Houdini. His estate is just down the street. I clicked the link for the Mansion and read that. Thus, this page is incorrect in its statement. 2605:59C8:975:F410:1878:7888:A08:555B (talk) 03:34, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
Original band
[edit]The lineup for the original band is wrong. 2A02:C7C:8459:EF00:415:7775:1B41:5DD4 (talk) 13:42, 18 October 2024 (UTC)
