Coincidence
[edit]Hello WWC, just noticed that we both edited the hatchback article within a day of each other... What's the chances of that? WWC59 06:09, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
Indeed! :-) WWC 02:38, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
College of William and Mary
[edit]Hi, WWC. As a current W&M student, I appreciate the attention you've been giving to my school's page. That said, why did you see fit to remove that it is known for its academic rigor? I'm not sure whether or not you're personally familiar with the College, but that really isn't a boast, whoever added it. The matter is negotiable, of course, but I think you would be hard-pressed to find someone who would disagree with the previous included statement. --BDD 06:34, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, that was a poorly explained edit. The phrase "widely known for its academic rigor" rubbed me the wrong way, and I personally think it's too fussy, at least for the top (summary) section of the article. Perhaps a compromise would be to do something like "Academically rigorous, the College is known for...etc".
- I'm a W&M student as well, by the way. WWC 04:22, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
The language about the Henricus school - you editted my previous entry, which specified that the school amounted to nothing more than an school for Native Americans. This is true and should probably be mentioned because otherwise it would appear that the University of Henrico became a real institute for higher learning, which it did not and remained nothing more than a Native American school through out its existence. William and Mary Presidents Merger Proposal
[edit]Thank you for expressing your concerns regarding my recent merger proposal between List of presidents of the College of William and Mary and the similarly-named section in the main College of William and Mary article. After reading your comments on the matter, I have come up with two possible solutions that I feel would address both concerns that you and I have raised. The two possible solutions that I am proposing can be viewed at Talk:List of presidents of the College of William and Mary. Please feel free to contact me at my Talk page on this matter. --TommyBoy 04:55, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Following up on my earlier comments, I have deleted the List of Past Presidents from the main College of William and Mary article replacing it with a link to List of presidents of the College of William and Mary rendering the merger proposal moot. --TommyBoy 17:45, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
