How do the Rocky Mountains count as part of the West Coast? -- Zoe

From what I understand, the rockys and the pacific coast mountains are all apart of what is called the cordellian system, just two different branches. -sfmontyo

Nonetheless, this covers much more than just the west coast. Any objection to renaming it Geography of the Western United States or similar? --Brion 06:31 Feb 21, 2003 (UTC)
