Espanola
[edit]I dunno...to me, the part about the hotel just doesn't cut it as something that a person who doesn't know anything about Espanola would need to know. And the other theories about the name just kind of piled on top of each other aimlessly, without really adding any valuable new information.
YMMV, I guess, but I think too many people on here use verifiability as a crutch for adding any old piece of trivia, without considering the added criteria of whether the information is useful, interesting or necessary. You're free to have a different opinion, but I left the parts that met those criteria in my estimation (toxic spill, Adventures in Rainbow Country, etc.), and took out the ones that didn't. You're always free to add it back if you disagree with my judgement. I actually think the hotel/strip club part would be choice content for an article about E.B. Eddy; in an article about Espanola it just comes across a bit misplaced.
Oh, and for what it's worth, I grew up in Walden myself, so I'm not just some random goof who doesn't know Espanola from a hole in the ground. Bearcat 19:52, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
"The town that didn't end"...yer tellin' me? An oversized box dropped on top of five existing villages up to twenty miles apart from each other, bordering on several other oversized arbitrary boxes, all of which are now merged into a single massively oversized box...gee, can you tell I never had much love for good ol' Sludgebury? (*grin*) Oh, and an Espanola Hotel article would rock! Bearcat 20:14, 30 Nov 2004 (UTC)
